  6. ... the dogs just loved being in a different place for a while and were really well behaved... I never even had to use the leashes ... after they smelled everything they just sat beside me and then laid their heads down...

it was the kind of atmosphere that made me lose track of time... no wind... just stillness, beauty and gliding birds

It almost felt as if I was intruding...

  8. No, you weren't intruding, you were documenting. I feel like Anet, lowered bp and lowered expectations for busyness. Great

Oh what perfect evening ! I'm going through agonies here as we try and secure another rescue lurcher (I've set my heart on her). Turns out she may not be cat friendly :( and I'm so sad about it. Your evening walk is my idea of heaven...and your hounds....so lovely.

  18. I lived in NS for 8 years as a kid. I loved the bay. NS gave me a life-long love of the ocean, that unfortunately, I can rarely feed. Montreal isn't big on ocean

  19. My husband John, grew up in Montreal and although he loves the ocean...he has never lost his love of big cities
