St. Martins ...... Peace
Photographs taken near my home in St.Martins, on the Bay of Fundy shore between 6:00 pm and 7:30 pm on Saturday, May 3, 2008 when my 3 faithful friends and I, went to see the quiet....
... the dogs just loved being in a different place for a while and were really well behaved... I never even had to use the leashes ... after they smelled everything they just sat beside me and then laid their heads down...
it was the kind of atmosphere that made me lose track of time... no wind... just stillness, beauty and gliding birds
Terri you are such an inspiration... hope your new wordpress blog is sliding together just the way you want.. Big job! The tips for a great bonfire on your site are well worth reading! Fun!
Thanks Don...It looked like the chicks were right at home in their new quarters... And Ruth your photos brought out the beauty of his work.. A job well done to both of you.
Oh, I cannot tell you how envious I am, Gwen! Your pups are beautiful, so happy the weather is cooperating, & I know you must be, too! Have a great day!
Oh what perfect evening ! I'm going through agonies here as we try and secure another rescue lurcher (I've set my heart on her). Turns out she may not be cat friendly :( and I'm so sad about it. Your evening walk is my idea of heaven...and your hounds....so lovely.
I lived in NS for 8 years as a kid. I loved the bay. NS gave me a life-long love of the ocean, that unfortunately, I can rarely feed. Montreal isn't big on ocean
It looks heavenly! What a lovely, lovely place and time.
ReplyDeleteThanks Gwen, I can almost feel the stillness from here.
