Read your response to my comment. I would love to have a crow "pet". A good friend of mine did growing up, and her stories are amazing. It would ride around on her shoulder, keeping her company in the neighborhood, chasing off dogs. . . .

You, John, Max and the animals live with views most of us would have to travel to a resort to see. I am so happy for you. What's really great about it, Gwen, is that you absorb and appreciate it better than most of us would, perfect! Now I realize I've never wondered how you got that particular piece of land. Places like that don't come available every day.
