Thanks everybody, No wonder certain civilizations used to worship the golden orb... maybe we will again when solar energy projects are developed more to the state we can all use them...... The star effect just happened when I took the picture it was so brilliant... even with temperatures here this morning at -25C, the sun penetrates the house... I don't know how you handle the temp. scorching on your land, Arija. When my daughter lived in Australia in the inland dessert area.. she felt she would die with temps in the 40C range.. she couldn't take it and had to come back to Canada...
This is just beautiful. I just can't believe the depth of the clouds and the glow of the sun. The horizon line and the trees anchor the photo and make it seem of this world. Spiritual is the word that comes to mind.
Glad you all enjoyed the beauty that greeted the day .... Oh when the shines out like this it sure does give a boost to your day.. We have been working on new designs and building up our jewelry stock to start off the season... have much more to do before I can start photographing them though.. then I have to get them all together to send off to the shops.. and that amazing sun keeps shining and tempting me away from the task at hand... I'll just sit in one of it's sunbeams for a while... Thanks for joining me....
Awesome Gwen! Wishing I had remembered our Camera yesterday - there were some great shots. The ocean and it's surroundings offer some terrific candid and 'planned' pix. Wish I saw it more often - thanks for sharing 'home' with each of us. Home safe -not sure email is working. Take care.
Shelley, glad to hear you made it home safely... hard to wait for summer isn't it... soon you'll be enjoying your time on its shores!!!
Oh Rauf, Sure hope that never happens!!! Do you suppose anyone has ever actually considered how they could own the sun? that's a scary thing.. don't make me think of unpleasant thoughts, now!!..
Your golden sky is very moving to me. I find my most deep thoughts are when I see the sun piercing through clouds. always strong. always bright. Roxanne

ReplyDeleteWhat if some one owns the sun and starts charging us for the light and heat ? A dollar an hour ??
