Oh my god! I recognize those eyes....I can't believe how real he looks!!! Yuck! Zoe is going to love it. :)
AAaaaaaggghhhhh!
Aside from feeling terrified, let me say, that first photo is just splendidly gorgeous, in a good yucky kind of way. WOW.
Oh Gwen! Now you've done it, ... I'll have to shut the curtains and it's only 3.00 in the afternoon. What was that noise? Quick, put the lights on.x

A Ghoulish Halloween to you all!!!
Here are some cabbage and raw onion suckers for all you sweet little darlings... Now don't go kissing anyone unless you share it with them...
Waaaaaoooooooaaaaahahahahahahahaha.
I remember when I was a kid.. there was a radio program on at night... late I think... and it was rather spooky and it stuck in my mind... went something like... " Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men"... "only the Shadow knows!"
...so during the years when something suspect ever comes up I always think of it... ..
opps, I have to go, something is knocking at my window... what was that...what?..... what?.. oh.... no... no... noooooooooooo..
ohhh... i love onion anything... i want onion ice cream too...
Ok then for you, the special homemade onion ice-cream with radishes on top but you will have to clean all the cinders out of the ciderbox first and dump them out by the compost.. I told you to look out and be careful out there.... its dark out now.. and I heard something rustling the bushes...
now do you still want that ice-cream?? hummm?
its me, i am rustling the bushes... darkness itself, with all the little sparrows and the flowers and the dew waiting in my heart to sing the morning bright and full... so you will see it and feel abashed with light and maybe guilty... for nothing at all... nothing but being kind... alive .
I love that. I love gory and scary costumes...and things that were creative. Seems none of the older kids that were out tonight had anything that wasn't from a store, sadly. Love it! :)
Wait, is that a face known to me? Who is it that I see?
I must show this pix to the girl in black (suprise). What other great ideas can you folks contrive?
Is this day but only one? We are having so much fun!
Super Spooky make-up. You could work in Hollywood. What a great job. Did your son go to school like that?
Oh Gwen...this is amazing! Super scary stuff...but from an artists point of view, I am impressed...what medium was used ...please don't say tomato sauce...:)
Great images...the first one is wonderful! Are they lanterns in the background?
Love those eyes!!!
Yeeuuch! That is really scary (but I am very impressed with your artistry!) Glad they didn't knock on my front door!
Just wanted everyone to know i have plenty, I mean almost all.. of the raw onion and (rotten) cabbage suckers left.. oh that's why I have so many left... I forgot to tell everyone it was rotten cabbage..
yummmmmmnuuyuckkkk...
....
Oh no come in out of those bushes... oh it's alright... only a little bird.. full of joy and not scared at all. wish we all had the strength of the little dwellers of the forest!!! thank you mansuetude for reminding us of the creatures and that we are all part of that world...Lovely...
.....
Thanks so much, Denise, I agree, some of most fun of Halloween is doing the face transformations...
.....
hey Shelley..I loved the rhyme... do you have more?
....
Hi shicat, he would have loved to but this pic was taken last year when we were homeschooling him... great fun...
...
Thanks Jo and Danielle, The secret ingredients... are you ready for it... just common white glue and torn toilet paper... layered and left to dry .. takes a while to dry.. it can be easily manipulated to form gaps to make scars and deformities.. also rice crispies and cornflakes can be inserted and covered.. when it's dry, blend and dab some makeup on the glue/tissue covered face to bring it to skin color...
the blood is homemade too... it is a combination of icing sugar, corn syrup, red food coloring & a small amount of cocoa powder... makes great blood... it dries and stays on all night.. and drips like thick blood too ..oughy googhy...
They are real pumpkins all carved out with candles inside... just caught the shot using natural light just before there wasn't any...
Ohhhhh, I should have had my breakfast FIRST before I saw this, hahaha. Great job!!
The girl in black enjoyed the pix. I don't recall often seeing that this pleasant young man had eyes. But then, I don't see 'girl in Black's' eyes often either.(LOL)
I used to dabble in the game in my younger years. Some were so sad, they caused some tears. Ahh to be a teen again, do you yourself remember when...
hey thanks Sandy.. sorry about that, little delicate one...
Shelley ... very Fun...are you sure you are in the proper calling...
love it... Thanks!!!
I remember when, so well. it seems like _ _ l l ..... do I have to relive it again... just joking!!!
