The mural is just so.... Totally Amazing!
Really amazing work! And I agree the arches for the windows are perfect.
You are very lucky to have such a wonderful gallery in such a beautiful place.

What wonderful progress my friend! Was Botticelli guiding John's hand or what . . . the painting is so very charming and gentle, just like the two of you.
Robin's egg blue? Hmm, I think I'll paint a few things in that myself.
Love . . . Arija
I like the painting a lot. The girl is strong and beautiful and has such a gentle smile. Can't wait to see the interior shots Gwen :-)
Looks beautiful!
Love it all. :-)
Oh Gwen ... The mural is soooo coool ... and congrats to both of you! ... All of your hard work has come together so wonderfully ... and it must feel awesome to have the gallery almost ready to open! I wish you the best of luck ... may it be the beginning of a wonderful adventure! Both of your talents now have a fitting home!

She is exquisite. How I would love to see her for real and visit your gallery. So exciting to be opening...all the very best wishes to you and John :~)
Oh Thanks Everyone.. You guys are the awesome ones!!! I really appreciate all of your encouragement and well-wishes..
Well I now have 2 coats of paint on the door... Oh I'm so glad the rain held off and the day was sunny and warm... But once you start painting it is hard to stop. I found two benches and painted them blue too.. someone take this paintbrush away.
I forgot to mention how much I love your paint colour and the arches you made!
And I am impressed with how fast you are with that paintbrush :~))
Hope the sun continues to shine on you and your loved ones....and thank you so much for your so lovely comment on my blog.

Wow...she is a big girl....and so lovely.....
She adds a whole new personality to your gallery outside!
Thanks Helen, BumbleVee and VioletSky... Hopefully most all the building is done now and we can reward ourselves by delving into our Art again... Yeah!! and maybe if we keep our fingers crossed some warm sunny days will arrive too... but I don't want to push it..
John's Girl from the Fog is beautiful. I wonder where he found a model for that hair?
Wishing you the best of the season and a prosperous summer in the gallery.
aikatherine and Cuidado, Thank you we really appreciate your best wishes..
...well after all that work, John felt it was time for another change... his locks have been shorn.. well actually I did it... looks good and he's still strong tho!!
What a lovely, lovely painting. Wishing you much success this coming year at the gallery!
Oh wow...this is exquisite.
That really turned out great. What an interesting gallery, just the kind of place I'd be drawn to stop in. Good Luck on your beautiful new venture
Congrats looks awesome~ I do like that sign on the vertical. Was looking at your carved headboard as well...quite lovely indeed.
Thanks so much girls, it has been an adventure... we're looking forward to seeing what the summer season brings.. hopefully more SUN than we have received up to this point!!! we have had our woodstove fired up quite a few times lately... and that is highly unusual!
It looks great, both the building and the sign! Where is your gallery?
hi Sharmon, it's in a small historic fishing village/artist community by the Bay of Fundy on the southern coast of New Brunswick, Canada. Much of the village thrives on summer tourism. It is quaint and charming. The surrounding Nature is still pristine and beautiful and raw and still available for everyone to explore..
What a gorgeous, gorgeous place! Best wishes on your gallery ... I hope to visit someday and scoop up lots of earrings!
Thanks Laura, It would be such a pleasure to meet you one day!!
I keep taking pictures of the inside and then we get a bright idea and rearrange everything.. hopefully it will finish evolving soon.
Lovely! I'll have to plan a trip to Fundy. That sign is quite an eyecatcher. Well done!
Absolutely beautiful....what will you do with her when the snow flies?
I hope she is fastened down well - such a masterpiece could disappear in the fog...
Thank you so much for sharing the process - I love outdoor art on buildings - and it doesn't get better than this one!
Congratulations!
Trudi - Alberta
Thanks Shayla, Maybe we'll see you!
Thanks Simply Blue, We have been thinking about whether she wants to go inside or get covered up for the winter.. we will want to do something to keep her cozy.
Thanks so much Trudi.. It was a labor of love.
WONERFUL!
Thank you C.T
