*****9/27/12.. One day after posting this, I received heartbreaking news  ...  my dear blog friend, Richard T Swaim Herrington/ alias Old Fool at Old Fools Journal,
had passed away from a stroke on Sunday Sept.23,2012.
So suddenly, so unexpected... He was so full of life-giving energy... This Post is dedicated to him, for if anyone knew how to find joy and to Love his whole Life, it was him. Funny, intelligent, caring, inventive, full of good common sense.
I Miss You Old Fool....  RIP  my Friend.

Wonderful quote and I love your calligraphy...
Love the little spotted Salamander in the post below. What a treat to find him and to be able to get those wonderful photos.
I love that he was such a gentle little beastie.

Gwen, how sorry I am that you have lost your friend. I'm wishing the happy memories are crowning your days just now as you celebrate a life. Life... this one trips is the one we're sure of so far, so we have to love it now. :o) Great to catch up with you! I've been offline a few days having some fun, just now surfacing! ((HUGS))

Hi Pauline, Life is just too darn short.. as soon as we start to figure a few things out. it's over.. We have to love it while we have it.

Such a beautiful, evocative portrait of your friend, Gwen. I can't think of a more fitting tribute. You have not only captured his face; you have captured his soul, and most importantly, you have shared it with others.

George I never know quite what to do at times like this.

I came over to visit you from the Bearister Bookcase, and see that the world is poorer with the loss of this man you describe.

You are so right Terra. It is so sad when we lose the knowledge base of a man's life experiences who is so willing to share.
