Lovely thing, at least you are being busy, I am fiddling and not really getting any where.

You have been gloriously creative, Gwen! It is wonderful to see what you've been up to lately. I admire you jewelry very much--those labradorite earrings are lovely! And the big ear... stunning! May you winter creating continue to flow beautifully. :o) Happy Days ((HUGS))

Hi Penny, sure you are getting somewhere, .. if it is on your mind, your mind is working on it.

Tracy, I am trying hard to get into gear of creating work to have on hand so in the summer (my favourite time of year) I can spend more time outdoors than I have been able to in the past.

Thank you Jane, It is the time of year we have to get serious on our new designs.

Thanks Dee, I find I am happier when I can work on a variety of things at the same time. Keeps things from getting stale, at least in my mind.

Dearheart,
I have wondered what you have been up to on these snowy days by the sea. Looks like you have been creating to me.

Beautiful and charming, just like the creator.

Looking forward to summer as well. Toodles for now.

Beautiful as usual.

You are too kind George, I appreciate your visit to my studio. Next time you will be put to work!! cheers.

Shelley, the snow is deep enough now. igloo building time. can't find my picnic table but I know it's out there somewhere, we'll find it come spring. I'll look at the somewhat bright side tho, I'm forced to stick it out at my workdesk and get my work done. take care.

Guillaume, you are sweet, as usual.

The primitive girls look like fresh baked treats. Love the house, and the image of the shells is wonderful.

Gwen Buchanan said...

Hey Steven, the girls are about to be "baked" by my torch. The old house was another loss by fire from our little village. such a shame, it sat directly across the road from our studio/cottage at the entrance to the village. It always seemed to welcome one to the village, now only an empty spot remains. sad.
... but the shells and stones and beachcombed finds always come in with each new tide.. so glad the beaches stay ice free ... one of the good things about winter here.

Tu es une véritable artiste et cela se sent dans ton univers. J'aime particulièrement la façon dont tu as dessinée cette ancienne maison. La légèreté du trait, sa liberté, en font une très belle œuvre.
Bravo.
Amicalement.

Wow... you bin bizeee.....

such a dainty little blue glass heart....

Gwen Buchanan said...

Thank you Roger, so kind. I live in a very quiet uncrowded place and it leaves much time to think and dream up ideas to make a living and occupy myself.

BumbleVee, I am glad I still have time to go beachcombing. even tho there is lots of snow this year, we are lucky to have salt water tidal shores as they are always free of ice and snow. when the tide is out there is so much room for us and the dogs to run and wander.

Have been thinking that you and John must be busy with the trip to Halifax always in Feb. Makes me smile to think of some fun times with you and Brian Adams. Winter is a good time to be inside doing what we do, eh?

Gwen Buchanan said...

hey there Cuidado. Yes I remember ACTS, we did have a good get together.... but we haven't gone there for at least 10 or 12 years. can't believe it's been that long.
I don't miss traveling that journey in those winter storms. yes, being in the studio instead is much better.

I love the variety and the creativity in all these. Perfect that there is an ear in addition to the earrings!

Relyn Lawson said...

Those amethyst earrings are just gorgeous.

Gwen Buchanan said...

Seth, perhaps that was the underlying reason I began doing studies of ears! Now I need to begin noses.

Thank you for visiting, Relyn.

j'aime cette oreille surdimensionné !

Gwen Buchanan said...

Hey Robyn, I always love the pattern the designs make when they are laid out together and they always make me want to start moving them around again.

Thanks Elfi, The better to hear you with. It is for listening to very loud noises.

So many ideas and inspirations...and glorious time in the studio. Wonderful to see the various forms of your creativity flowing from your fingertips.
I am suffering now from earring lust.
