Cat # 5

"And the Orange Cat Sits and Stares, Waiting... Waiting..."

"The time has come" the Walrus said, "to talk of many things,
of shoes ~ and ships ~ and pretty birds before they're on the wing".

Awww, she is so sweet. I love fluffy orange kitties. Beautiful sketch!

A beautifully sensitive, soft sketch of your pretty cat, Gwen; however, I'm afraid she's confused about the poem. I can see why the birds would interest her more than cabbages and kings, or sealing wax and boiling seas. Pigs with wings, though, could be important if they're flying around while you're out hunting birds...

Thanks Sharmon, this kitty has a one track mind... that being birds... she picks any lines from any poems and writes them to suit herself... a very headstrong cat!

Thanks Linda, unfortunately my doggies also love fluffy cats.. that is, they love chasing them. I try not to let that happen though.

Thank You Guillaume and Penny!
Cats are pretty independent creatures aren't they, but we can't help but love them.

Perfect eyes. No pun intended. Mischievous little devils cats are. This one is up to something for sure.

Faye, You are sweet. Your talent astounds me. I can imagine a kitty at your house must get the most wonderful scraps from your table.

Cute, Steven... cats are such ironic creatures aren't they, all fluffy and touchable then all long claws and sharp teeth.

You can fairly feel the softness of the fun, your rendering is so delicate, Gwen! This almost looks like our boy Charlie. :o) Happy Days ((HUGS))

A hunter, then? Feel I could almost reach out and stroke this beauty. Wonderful job of rendering the softness and texture of that luxurious fur coat, and the intensity of those anticipating eyes.
