Celebrating the Green for St. Paddy's Day

This time of year we are all waiting for the GREEN .... from the glittering moss on the bluff rockface  to the entire wondrous awakening landscape...
My blog followers may have seen some of these photographs before but this post is about GREEN and St. Paddy's Day seems as good a day as any to remember what it looks like.

Yes, I know, mung beans aren't landscape but at least they're Green.

Last but certainly not least... can't forget this lovely Green lady that means a lot to me.. a vintage green 1968 Kenmore sewing machine.. and does she purr... Heavy as lead.. works like a charm... have to keep her busy till the other Green shows up. (update: this old girl now has a new home at my daughter Rebecca's)

Thanks for this sweet reminder of green and the spring to come. I need it now as all I see is a two-tone yard of whites and greys.

beautiful - ....

we have a new saying here in California - brown is the new green.

although our mountains are lush and beautiful. but the onnly reason the landscapes down below in the valley are green is because of sprinklers watering away while our water supply dwindles. I have faith though - i see a huge healing coming in terms of the drought. I'm such an optimist, lol

Hey Sandy, sure hope things turn around out there.

We are greening up beautifully here in North Wales but your photos made me realise that there are many shades of green to come yet. I particularly love the slightly yellow green of new leaf and of greeny yellow flowers that for us comes in May. Fabulous.

Faye and Elizabeth, they say Patience is a Virtue.
Green is my mother's favourite colour and now i know one of the reasons.

Hi, I am visiting from Faye's blog and loved seeing your green post as we continue with this long white winter here in NB. St. Martin's is a special place and we always enjoy our day trips there in the summertime. Happy Spring to you! Pam

Lots of green from your nexk of the woods... and I will never stop loving your beautiful house.

Also love the church in the mist across the meadow, and the little deer.

Hope you had a good St Patrick's Day.

Hey there Janice, Thanks so much. It was a labour of love... we never created the panoramic view but we sure appreciate it and as well everyone who visits, could sit and look at it for hours.. and often do. It is a great experience.
