Vignettes

...during my intense working routine at this time of year, when the light is right I sometimes take a break  and find vignettes that change my point of view to something wider than the jewelry bench.

Your photographs, thematized by a mindfulness I seldom encounter, are most enjoyable. Following on Google Friend Connect.

I've just had a frantic day so far and looking at your photos brings my life back into a healthier perspective. Thank you for vistas which soothe my soul.

Home sweet home. I envy you for a lot of what I see, especially the bookshelves, the fireplace and the logs.

What a lovely post, Gwen! I did this once in my old house, and it made me appreciate the tiny little things, the odd corners, the shafts of light, that I sometimes missed.

I love the real-life touch that we usually edit out of our photographs - the wheelbarrow beside the logs!

Thank you Rachel, I did consider leaving out the one with the wheelbarrow but it is such an easy quick way to bring the wood in from the back door, I left it. and I like real life too!! cheers.

Your home is so beautiful, Gwen. Such a joy to 'wander' with you while you take these gorgeous photos, snapshots of your life. Thank you!

Always love to see any part of your house and your surroundings! The light in the photo coming through the window with the chair almost feels sacred. There is an "energy" in that photo that comes through the screen.
Oh and that gorgeous mirror on the wall - wow
