Seth Apter... The Altered Page

Seth Apter... an artist of amazing talent and imagination... This fellow makes Art... beautiful abstract constructs on paper, books, photography, etc.... his work is always inspiring... lots of color, shapes and ideas to wrap your mind around... His whole blog is worth touring through for inspiration ...

As well, he has introduced me and hundreds, probably thousands of others to many other artists and what they do... Artists that are doing very cool work...

Today Seth will begin his 3rd and latest undertaking of The Pulse... "An Artist Survey" on his blog, The Altered Page... over 80 artists are taking part this time and his survey will run over the course of a month... I am especially looking forward to the sharing of the artists studios or where artists work... oh and all their insights too!!!

Oh... just one more thing..... My son, Max and I, both feel very lucky to be taking part in it!!!

...Sometime today it will begin....

Thanks for this reminder. Seth's work is great, and his blog is so "alive" with ideas. Look forward to meeting Max. Have a wonderful day, am sending my hummingbird over to love your radishes. :)

That's great, congratulations to you and Max! So it will be a live stream?

Unfortunately, I will be in another building today and won't be able to tune in until later in the afternoon. Hope it's still going on then.

Congratulations!

I love seeing artists studios too - I love the art, but to see where people work is just so interesting.

mansuetude.. That was quick!! the hummer is here already and she brought a friend.. How did you do that??

Ruth, don't think live stream... Seth will be publishing them on his blog and they will be there for all to see... the Pulse will run for a month.

Denise, Should be interesting, for sure. 80 art spots.. He is taking on a lot... Every artist was asked 7 questions .. I can't wait to read them all!

I've been to Seth's blog several times today already, waiting to see what will go up there.

I can't wait.

I'm such an artist stalker. It's pathetic.

Sharon,
I think you would really connect with the work he has there.. especially with his use of color... as you already have that natural ability and are not afraid to use it..
I liked going back to the beginning and seeing his progression... and all the previous artists he profiled...
