Anet, thank you, now that john has managed to repair most of the roof shingles an hour ago that all ripped off in the blizzard that just passed through.. power out and snow covering the roof too.. dangerous job.. even trying to find shingles in the city that matched was almost impossible and they are just plain black... think we are fine for now... hope so anyway..

Sharon, hope we don't unhappily find more missing shingles tomorrow now that the snow has cleared off the roof.. At least all the rain we are receiving tonight may clean the salt spray off the windows... gotta look at the bright side of life ( just watched the "Life of Brian")

...discovered more roofing damage so have to get back up there to fix them now that the roof is clear of snow and it is sunny... still very cold though...
