But It Was 100 x More Glorious Than That!

........must learn how to take Nightshots.  It will be difficult to tear myself away from this place?

Full Moon on Bay of Fundy, from my porch, taken minutes ago, while I stood there, captured.

So must I but you have the advantage of taking that moon over water. Lovely.

A halo around the moon and a moon bridge on the bay, how could you possibly tear yourself away from that? Even photographing interrupts the rapture.

It WAS a gorgeous moon, wasn't it? I too was out taking photos of it, and over the Vlatava River looking up to Prague Castle - they'll be posted later today...

It is very beautifully composed. I hope it might translate into one of your beautiful paintings.

So lovely. Thank you for sharing. We saw a bit of it here in middle TN but the cloud cover rolled in and hid the moon from our view.

Oh I am SO glad you are not blogging about the Royal Baby!

This is a beautiful picture. Thank's for sharing. I saw yesterday it was a full moon. I thought about taking a pic too, but didn't in the end.

I wish I could have shown what was really visible... this is as good a version as I could get.
The moon was so bold, the air so clear. the whole scene had a magic that held one spellbound.
Thanks Everybody, for joining me even with this subtle representation.

Lovely anyway, although cameras never do justice to a really lovely moon.
BTW, the halo round the moon always reminds me of my grandmother, who would say "The moon is in her garden...."

I know what you mean, night shots are so difficult. But we get the idea from this photo how incredible the night must have been. Every summer, I try to take night photos of fireflies, just to show people how wonderful they are. But the shots never turn out right, and those who have never seen fireflies, will never get a HINT of those miraculous tiny creatures by looking at MY pictures.

Gwen, it seems to me that you exist within a pool of beauty and creativity; everywhere near you is evidence of your unique way
of being ... your gardens, fresh-baked bread, glorious scavenged home, handmade jewelry, and do on. So glad I met you here. xo
