on Queen St. in Fredericton, NB.

that carries our work in Sussex NB.

It has been a fairly busy season...  and truly I can't tell you how pleased I am when people order our work or when  I see people wearing our pieces.  

I am so humbled.

 Even tho we have been creating and selling our handmade jewelry since 1992, I get the same thrill... and maybe even more so.

  This year the Bead People are in our line od designs and they demanded to be on the cover of the new catalog....  Attitude!

THIS is Where they made their first appearance on my blog.

Spring may have been long in coming this year but that doesn't mean that things haven't been bubbling and boiling below the surface, behind the scenes and in the studio...

Kind of an obsession, till we get it all pulled together.

We make a few of each design till be have them where we like them.

 IDEAS were sketched, mulled over, bent, twisted, heated up, born and come to life, photos taken, adjusted, imported into Word, arranged and arranged and arranged...

 and finally Finalized.

A set of these were sent off to a customer a week or two ago.

I have a pair of these earrings on as I write this... come to think of it, I wear this design a lot.

... approx. 2 3/4" long, top of earwire to bottom of stone, $35.

Bracelet $50.

Sterling Silver Spiral with wire wrapped Labradorite.

Very light and airy with a subtle glow

...overall length about 2", $25.

Steel and Crystal.. The steel is inspired by the treble clef.

 He sat so long and so still, watching the boats come in... he was waiting and he knew what he was waiting for.

I like these birds.. yes I know they are scavengers...  that's why... I relate.

 Every pair is manipulated into shape by John and my hands, here in our studio.

They are textured for character... hammered for strength... and forged to contour.

  Hope you like them... We think they are Fun.

We made extras so they are all stocked up.

Earth Laughs In Flowers

FLOWERS ... are coming to life...

...the dark ones have carbon from fusing, the bright ones are waiting to be fused...

 All... in... little... rows...

 But in this northern clime...

 Only on my workbench... for now...

It has been a cool spring.

...still waiting ...

for my earth dwellers to burst forth their faces... 

I think of rhymes...

Mary, Mary, quite contrary,

How does your garden grow?

With silver bells and scallop shells, (Fundy, you know)

And pretty maids all in a row.

*well not quite, but the Daffodils are trying... soon, yes very soon
